EG.1078 Double Touch

Crete provides the setting for EG.1078, as Double Touch share a session inspired by their summer residency at DIO Beach Club.

The mix follows the natural pace of a day by the Mediterranean. Warm melodies and relaxed rhythms shape its opening moments, before the energy gradually moves toward the dancefloor. Music from DSF, Raw Main, Raz Alon, GERSH, Samm, and Nico De Andrea appears alongside four Double Touch productions.

Double Touch brings together Australian classical pianist and composer Van Anh Nguyen with DJ, drummer, and producer Mark Olsen. Their project connects live musicianship with electronic music through piano, percussion, improvisation, and carefully selected records.

Their performances move between organic house, Afro house, Latin influenced rhythms, and melodic house. Rather than following a fixed DJ format, the pair use live keys and drums to reshape tracks and create new passages during each appearance.

As official All Day I Dream artists, Double Touch have released music through the label and performed at its events across several continents. Their touring history includes Brooklyn Mirage in New York, Scorpios in Mykonos and Bodrum, Cova Santa and Playa Soleil in Ibiza, Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, Cercle at Omnia in Indonesia, and the All Day I Dream Festival in California.

Their music has also received support from Pete Tong, Lee Burridge, Black Coffee, Keinemusik, Sébastien Léger, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Above & Beyond, Facundo Mohrr, Roy Rosenfeld, Guy Mantzur, and Nora En Pure.

EG.1078 closes with “My Paradise,” bringing the session back to Double Touch and the summer setting that shaped it.
