Matador returns to his influential RUKUS label with a new collab with fellow heavyweight Denis Horvat.
Matador is the Irish-born producer and DJ who has done it all from minimal to melodic house and now joins forces with Denis Horvat, the Croatian artist whose emotive, melodic approach has earned him a devoted following through releases on Cercle, Innervisions and Afterlife.
Olfactory is a sinewy, sensory minimal sound with a rolling rhythm that’s loaded with bass. The percussion is deft as it is sprinkled through the mix with a low-key tension bubbling in the synths that will keep dancers locked.
