SLC-6 Music proudly presents ‘Moksa: Remixed’ revisiting the outstanding collaboration between Malta’s Fiiasco and label founder D.J. MacIntyre. The original paired a house-rooted foundation with a progressive arc and a spoken-word vocal, and it has spent the last months finding its way into sets across the progressive underground, and now three interpretations arrive to join the party.
Moksa is the Sanskrit term for release, one of the four goals of classical Indian life alongside kama, artha, and dharma. The track wears the meaning lightly: liberation in the old sense, and liberation in the sense the dancefloor understands.
Leading the package are Hernán Cattáneo and Marcelo Vasami. Cattáneo is the legendary Argentine DJ and producer behind Sudbeat, and has spent three decades as one of the defining figures in progressive music. Vasami is a fellow Argentine producer and frequent Cattáneo studio partner whose catalog runs deep through Sudbeat and its extended family of labels. Their version carries the patient, hypnotic build that has become their signature.
Franco Armellini follows with a retro-infused gem. The Rosario-based Argentine made his first appearance on SLC-6 earlier this year with ‘Skins’, and his second appearance on the label finds him working the track toward the floor with the unhurried confidence that has marked his recent run.
Runik round out the release with a concise and powerful remix that gets right to the point. The Asunción-based duo of Gaspar Zaldivar and Guillermo Corvalan made their album debut on SLC-6 with ‘Dusk/Dawn,’ and have kept a distinctive melodic instinct at the center of everything they touch.
Three remixers, working independently, have arrived at versions that sit remarkably well beside one another — a package for any DJ cherish in their collection.
Release date: August 14th, 2026.
