HOUSEKEEPING Records end a fantastic year on a high with the ‘Disco Dust’ EP from Italian house producer, Marcello Miele, released on 22 November.

With the ‘Disco Dust’ EP, Marcello Miele proves why he is such an exciting talent, by delivering three sublime cuts made for the dance-floor that showcase his ability to cleverly fuse various styles and genres to create something fresh. The title ‘Disco Dust’ was inspired by the particles emphasised by club lighting, often around a disco ball. Opening track, the hypnotic ‘Disco Dust’ is reminiscent of classic ‘90s house, complete with an unforgettable bass line, a sultry female vocal and cosmic sounds.

‘Do You Like Bass’ has a tougher, techier edge with a clipped male vocal interspersed with nostalgic hi-hats and air-horns, alongside the shimmering bassline.

The EP closes with the deep and atmospheric ‘Mr Brown’ with the vocals provided by a soulful choir which is the perfect balance to the tribal percussion and bassline, to create a wholly unique track which leaves the listener wanting more.

Marcello Miele’s previous EP on HOUSEKEEPING Records, ‘Origin’, received strong support from DJs including Jamie Jones, Steve Lawler, Claude VonStroke, Mat.Joe, Riva Starr, Joseph Capriati, Flashmob, and Robert Owen.

Originally from Naples and now based in London, Marcello Miele regularly plays at leading London venues including at Fabric, KOKO, One Embankment, Cuckoo Club, and Beat, plus internationally. He joined the HOUSEKEEPING Records roster in 2016.

Release date: November 22th, 2019.
