A future collaboration between the Finnish and Australian artists is expected.
Finnish DJ and producer Yotto created a remake of Grammy nominee Cassian’s latest single, in collaboration with Tora, titled ‘Imagination’. The track is part of the album ‘Laps’, released by the Australian in June 2020 through Rose Avenue Records.
Yotto painted over the original track, delivering a melodic soundscape with atmospheric tones and an ethereal touch. ‘I am very happy with the amazing remix that (Yotto) has made and very happy that there is another chapter in our book as contributors’, said Cassian, adding that they are already working ‘on the next chapter’.
Regarding the remix, Yotto said: ‘(Cassian) is a mad scientist in the studio and it shows in his new album. I was able to blackmail him into joining me on my tour last year and do a remix for me, now I’m trying to return the favor by destroying a beautiful song from his album called ‘Imagination’. What I’m trying to say is that he’s a legend and I’m always happy to work with him’.
