Luxembourg’s Sam Skilz and Miss MAD unleash their fourth collaborative release, ‘Behind The Doors’, with 2 potent progressive house cuts for GaGa Records. ‘Behind The Doors’ is atmospherically haunting, armed with a catchy melodic hook, airy synth waves, a brooding bass and tension filled drops. Ramping up the feel good factor is ‘Connected’, laced with celestial synth melodies and an infectious hook that cheerfully twirls over a slamming groove.
Luxembourg DJ, Producer and GaGa Records label owner Sam Skilz is an international name in his own right, who has pioneered his own distinct sound over a colourful career which has paved the way for a warmer, more melodic, sound to emerge. Sam now has a plethora of releases under his belt on major labels such as Sony Music, Virgin Records, Warner Music and Wagram, along with remixes and productions for respected dance labels such as Hed Kandi, Urbana, Just Music, Hi-Bias, Club Star and more.
Sam’s label GaGa Records has put out over 100 releases, featuring artists such as Eddie Amador, Dany Cohiba, Lenny Fontana, David Penn, Coqui Selection, Terri B! and Michelle Weeks, among others, as well as his own productions. His recent releases ‘Rise’ and ‘Underworld’, alongside collaborations with Miss MAD on ‘After Life’, ‘Outta Control’ and ‘Casablanca’ have seen Sam explore the darker, melodic side of electronic dance music. Sam also runs the Skilz DJ Academy based in Luxembourg, teaching international students the creative process of making music at the highest level.
Miss MAD is originally from Romania based in Luxembourg. In 2017, MAD was voted as the 2nd best DJ in Luxembourg Awards. Her combination of professional DJ skills and her outstanding image is the full package, guaranteed to draw a crowd and her sets always have the dance floor on lockdown from start to finish. Miss MAD made her debut in 2017 on GaGa Records with her first Tech House release, ‘House Music’, followed by ‘Tell Me Your Story’ on the label, both of which featured on a plethora of international compilation releases. 2019 was a busy year for MAD performing live at exclusive fashion shows for the Italian Brand, Semeraro Clothing and international festivals such XGenius in Bulgaria, Holly Ship and Orange Festivals.
