Junior Sanchez debuts on Crosstown Rebels with ‘Divergent’

The EP features the participation of Todd Terry.

DJ / producer Junior Sanchez makes his long-awaited Crosstown Rebels debut with his ‘Divergent’ EP. The four-track release is now available from May 14th.

The EP begins with ‘Live Forever’, a symbolic collaboration in which world-renowned house producer Todd Terry provides all the vocals on the track: ‘I was in the studio with Todd in Ibiza. He heard it and he liked it, so he was just kidding and I said sing something about it. He left some ideas … and boom, you have a track with Todd Terry on lead vocals,’ Sanchez said.

The next track is ‘After Love’, described by Junior in the following words: ‘this track has to do with the feeling of the sun and the pure energy of happiness’. It is followed by ‘My Mind Goes’, with its 80s new wave airs and reverberating vocals. The EP closes with ‘Body Heat’, a track inspired by artists like New Order and Jimmy Sommerville, with a vibe similar to the early ’90s, perfect for listening late at night.
