The  Day Trip Festival took place   June 22nd and 23rd, 2024 on the  Queen Mary Waterfront, located in South California. On this occasion, thousands of music enthusiasts reunited at the Queen Mary Waterfront to celebrate a non-stop dancing weekend alongside organizers, the Insomniac crew.

On its fourth edition, a selected group of DJs kicked off the Summer season at the sold-out event.  Divided into three stages, High Tide, Deep End, and Shoreline,  the extended list of artists brought their sharp mixing skills to the front of the sea making a remarkable noon-to-night fresh air bash. Among the main names that caught our attention we can mention Boyz Noise,  Paco Osuna back-to-back  Nicole Moudaber,  Ben Sterling, Seth Troxler, Ms. Mada,  Patrick Topping, MK back-to-back Green Velvet, Clonee, and Hannah Wants, who delivered carefully curated house and techno sets during the whole weekend.

In front of the venue site, we had the historic Queen Mary ship, which created a mesmerizing view,  accompanied by cutting-edge stage production with the festival’s biggest stage designs yet. Other amenities included food trucks, art cars, and of course, good weather and a shining sun through the days.

Resuming the experience, we can say that the Day Trip Festival fully covered our expectations with its finest selection of artists, quality music, and a special location, making it a must-return for us next year.
