Ableton introduces Move, a portable groove box that redefines mobile music creation. This compact device offers  new features for on-the-go creativity.

Move’s core features include 32 polyphonic aftertouch pads, a 16-step sequencer, and built-in sampling capabilities. It seamlessly integrates with Ableton Live, enhancing workflow options for users.

The device’s four-track system provides versatility, functioning as a drum kit, sampler, or instrument. This allows for complete compositions in a portable format. A built-in microphone and line-in expand sampling options, including the ability to resample Move’s output for advanced sound design.

Preloaded with an extensive library of 1,500 sounds and presets, Move caters to quick idea generation. Its default track configuration—drums, bass, pads, and lead—provides a solid foundation for instant music creation. While primarily designed as a preset-based instrument, Move offers sound-shaping capabilities, including the ability to pitch drum sounds across 16 pitches, opening up new melodic possibilities.

Move boasts eight built-in audio effects, including reverb and delay, for professional sound polishing. Its rechargeable battery lasts up to four hours, with USB-C charging, enabling creativity anywhere.

Move is available for £399. Visit the official Ableton website for details and demos.
