Above & Beyond rebrands their Reflections label as Anjunachill, focusing on ambient and downtempo music with their inaugural single ‘Shall We Begin.’
Coinciding with Anjuna’s 20th anniversary, the rebranding features a visual refresh, including the custom-designed ‘Decima Sans’ typeface—a design that honors the label’s heritage while embracing future innovation.
Alongside sister labels Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, Anjunachill represents a natural evolution in the Anjuna ecosystem. This new imprint maintains the brand’s signature emotional depth while specializing in ambient, downtempo, and chillout productions.
“We’ve always believed that the best music is timeless. It has a unique power that can resonate across generations,” shares Above & Beyond. “Ambient music has been a part of Anjuna and Above & Beyond since the beginning, starting with our first album ‘Tri-State.’ Including ambient tracks on our albums has always felt right to us. Music can be comforting and healing, especially living in this hectic world. It’s music that grounds us and helps us find peace.”
Above & Beyond’s ‘Shall We Begin,’ the label’s debut release, exemplifies Anjunachill’s artistic direction. First previewed during the 500th episode of Anjunadeep Edition, the track captures the essence of their ‘Flow State’ album while charting new territory in downtempo electronic music.
Under its previous name Reflections, the label reached 150 million streams across 250 recordings from 70+ artists, with acclaim from Pitchfork and BBC Radio 6 Music. The 2025 roster includes established names and rising talent like Planet of Souls, Luttrell, Steven Weston, and neo-classical duo Ad Harmonium.
