Drumcode label head Adam Beyer kicks off the year with ‘Close Your Eyes’, a long-circulated ID now officially released across digital platforms. The two-track package includes a festival edit and marks his first release of 2026.
Fusing modern techno production with the voice of Jim Morrison, ‘Close Your Eyes’ incorporates a vocal from The Doors’ ‘A Little Game’, reframing it within a powerful, driving arrangement built for peak-time sets. “No one can deny the message Jim Morrison left behind with his songs,” Beyer shared. “As a lifelong fan, an idea formed listening to these lyrics. I took them into the studio, and the finished product transcends musical boundaries and completely resonated with the dance floor.”
Already a highlight of Beyer’s live sets since last summer, the track has been road-tested across major stages. Its distinct vocal and tension-filled build have made it one of the most ID-hunted records in his recent catalog.
