Adam Ten has partnered with J.Views to release ‘Rivers and Homes Retake’ via Kompakt. The single serves as a contemporary club interpretation of J.Views’ earlier work.
The collaboration centers on a reimagining of the title track from J.Views’ 2011 Grammy-nominated album. While the original recording leaned into indie-pop sensibilities, this updated version is structured specifically for the dancefloor.
The production maintains the core melodic elements of the source material while introducing a steady percussive drive and warm synth layers. The arrangement is designed to bridge the gap between organic songwriting and electronic functionalism, moving away from the folk-electronic style of the 2011 version toward a more club-ready energy.
