Zürich-based creatives Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, better known as Adriatique, collaborated with Italian producer/DJ Undercatt for their latest release, the ‘Horizon’ EP, now available on X Recordings.
The title track, ‘Horizon,’ takes listeners on a 6-minute journey with its transcendent builds and swirling melodies. Its companion, ‘Vera,’ enhances the experience with galactic deep-tech tones that add depth and intrigue to the overall release.
Adriatique has made a significant impact in the electronic music scene for over a decade. They have released tracks on renowned labels such as Afterlife, Rose Avenue, and Diynamic. Their remixes of songs by Swedish House Mafia and Elderbrook have solidified their reputation as innovative artists.
Undercatt brings his blend of melodic electronica and atmospheric techno to this collaboration. Having released music on labels like Diynamic, Atlant, and Notturna, Undercatt has gained recognition in the industry. ‘Horizon’ marks Undercatt’s debut on X Recordings, following his recent single ‘We Are Your Friends,’ which was featured as Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune.
