Alan Fitzpatrick announces new album ‘Machine Therapy’ on Anjunadeep

The first single, ‘W.A.I.S.T.D’ featuring Kele, is out now.

Alan Fitzpatrick has shared details of his forthcoming album, ‘Machine Therapy’. For his most ambitious release to date, Fitzpatrick is linking up with UK behemoth, Anjunadeep.

The title of the album comes from ‘time Alan has spent in his home studio, with the hardware he has collected over the years, the machines offering a sort of therapy during the pandemic.’

‘The time I had in the studio was like a therapy session. Particularly with the pandemic, not knowing what was happening, what the future might look like, what might happen in the scene; being able to get into the studio with no time constraints and just really pour my heart into making music really helped get me through the last year and definitely help keep my mental health in check,’ says Fitzpatrick about the upcoming LP.

‘Machine Therapy’ will see Alan ‘pull his wide-ranging sounds together into one, coherent project, combining techno, house, breaks, and ambient.’

In line with the announcement, Fitzpatrick also shared the first single from the upcoming album in ‘W.A.I.S.T.D’, which features Bloc Party’s Kele on vocals.

Alan Fitzpatrick’s ‘Machine Therapy’ will be out on November 12th, via Anjunadeep. You can pre-order your copy here.
