Collaborations include High Contrast, UK vocalist Kele, and more.
We Are The Brave founder and global techno ambassador Alan Fitzpatrick has unveiled his latest project, ‘Machine Therapy’. The new record, his first in almost 10 years, is already available to stream and purchase across all major platforms via UK imprint Anjunadeep.
The name derives from the time Alan has spent in his home studio, with the hardware he has collected over the years, the machines offering a sort of therapy during the pandemic.
‘The time I had in the studio was like a therapy session. Particularly with the pandemic, not knowing what was happening, what the future might look like, what might happen in the scene; being able to get into the studio with no time constraints and just really pour my heart into making music really helped get me through the last year and definitely help keep my mental health in check’ explains Fitzpatrick.
The album sees Alan pull his wide-ranging sounds together into one, coherent project, combining techno, house, breaks, and ambient, while featuring collaborations with Lawrence Hart, Kele, High Contrast, LOWES, and Catrin Vincent.
