AlphaTheta has announced full integration of Apple Music with its rekordbox DJ software and two all-in-one DJ systems—OMNIS-DUO and XDJ-AZ—expanding the creative flexibility of DJs worldwide.

DJs can now stream Apple Music’s catalog of over 100 million tracks directly through rekordbox and supported devices. This means instant access to chart-topping tracks, curated playlists, and classics, right from the booth.

With Apple Music now accessible via the StreamingDirectPlay feature on OMNIS-DUO and XDJ-AZ, users can load tracks instantly with BPM/grid analysis and waveform display—no rekordbox subscription required.

The update also introduces Streaming Radar, artist images, collaboration playlists, and an enhanced browsing experience for Apple Music inside rekordbox. DJs on the move can use rekordbox for iOS paired with lightweight controllers like the DDJ-FLX2 to perform anywhere.

Additionally, AlphaTheta launched its Apple Music DJ Mix Curator page, showcasing DJ mixes and their full tracklists, inviting fans to recreate them using the integrated tools.

This major integration also includes Cloud Library Sync—allowing users to set hot cues on the go and sync libraries across devices like laptops, smartphones, and DJ systems.
