Belgian techno powerhouses Amelie Lens and Charlotte de Witte are set to headline two special back-to-back performances at Flanders Expo in Ghent, Belgium, on January 31 and February 1, 2025.
This event marks a pivotal moment for both artists, as they will be playing together for the first time. Anticipation has been building for weeks, with Charlotte and Amelie dropping tantalizing hints on social media and during recent performances.
Flanders Expo will transform into a mecca for electronic music enthusiasts, hosting this massive techno event. With 20,000 attendees per night, cutting-edge visuals, and the combined talent of both artists, these performances are poised to push the boundaries of live techno.
Amelie Lens, renowned for her EXHALE events and labels, has broadened techno’s appeal through her inclusive approach. Charlotte de Witte, the founder of KNTXT, has evolved from an underground artist to a global icon since 2010. Both artists are celebrated for their energetic performances and substantial impact on the techno scene. This event marks de Witte’s fourth consecutive appearance at Flanders Expo.
Both artists have expressed their excitement about the upcoming shows. Lens emphasized the unity of the techno community, stating, “I couldn’t be more excited to join forces with Charlotte! The time has finally come to unite and create something truly unique and special for our communities. We’re one scene, united by our unstoppable love for the music!” de Witte echoed this sentiment, highlighting the significance of two Belgian artists coming together: “This is Belgian Techno united, and this will be huge.”
Tickets go on sale September 12th, 2024, at 6 PM CET. Prices range from €59.99 for day tickets to €179.99 for Paddock tickets.
