Amelie Lens has released ‘Activate’, a brand-new solo track, as part of ‘EXHALE VA007’, the latest compilation from her label EXHALE. Out now on all platforms, the release coincides with the imprint’s fifth anniversary and follows a major EXHALE showcase at ADE 2025.
Spanning thirteen tracks, ‘VA007’ highlights a mix of EXHALE regulars and newcomers, including Flour, GALLØ, AIROD, FLKN, Blondex, VE/RA, and others. It opens with Lens’ own ‘Activate’, a high-intensity cut driven by pounding kicks, sweeping trance arps, and a massive drop.
Standouts on ‘VA007’ include ‘Love It’ by Flour, the trance-tinged ‘Zor’ by Blondex, and Jomaa’s emotionally charged ‘Free Bird’. Glasgow-born AISHA contributes the rave-driven ‘Pill Crusher’, while Carla Schmitt, Ellen Trenn, and Alexa Borzyk each add distinctive takes on progressive, electro, and dubby techno hybrids.
The compilation continues EXHALE’s mission to unite underground power with global reach. Founded by Lens in 2020 at Labyrinth Club in Hasselt, Belgium, EXHALE has grown into an internationally recognized platform. With showcases across New York, Berlin, Amsterdam, Istanbul, and stage takeovers at Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and Awakenings ADE, the label bridges raw warehouse energy and mainstage scale.
