Amnesia has announced a special 50-track compilation to celebrate its 50th anniversary, bringing together music that has defined five decades of the Ibiza club’s history. Scheduled for release on September 4th, 2026, via N.E.W.S., the collection will be available as a deluxe 10-vinyl or 5-CD box set.
Curated by long-time resident Les Schmitz alongside the Amnesia team and Frederik Emmerechts of N.E.W.S., the compilation traces the venue’s musical legacy through selections spanning disco, Balearic, house, techno, trance, and rave. The tracklist features music from Eric Prydz, Fred Again.., Chic, Hot Natured, Candi Staton, Paul van Dyk, Calvin Harris, Donna Summer, Robert Miles, Laurent Garnier, Binary Finary, and more, alongside the vinyl-exclusive inclusion of Maceo Plex’s remix of Faithless’ ‘Insomnia’.
The release also revisits many of the sounds associated with Amnesia’s defining eras, from Alfredo’s Balearic influence and classics such as Joe Smooth’s ‘Promised Land’ and New Order’s ‘Blue Monday’, to records closely linked with Cocoon, Cream, and other landmark club nights that helped shape the venue’s identity.
Designed as both a collector’s edition and a musical document of the club’s history, the compilation celebrates the artists, records, and moments that have soundtracked 50 summers on Ibiza’s dancefloors.
