Selector and vinyl connoisseur Andrey Pushkarev has released his latest mix, now available on EG’s SoundCloud and Mixcloud platforms. Recorded during his United States tour while in New York, the mix reflects the energy of springtime travels, friendship, and deep musical exploration.
“I put this mix together while I was in New York on my US tour. The May vibes and good times with friends shaped the mood. It’s 1h15m of tunes I’m really into right now—some unreleased stuff from myself and some tracks coming on Luck of Access and Berg Audio, plus a few personal favorites from friends and artists I respect. Hope you enjoy it,” shares Pushkarev.
Active in the global underground for over 25 years, the Votkinsk-born artist began collecting and spinning vinyl at the age of 15. Known for his understated depth and refined selections, he rose to prominence as a resident of DeepMix.ru, and later as the central figure in the acclaimed 2013 documentary ‘Kvadrat’.
In 2017, he launched his own imprint, Luck of Access, a label aimed at providing artists a space to showcase the deeper and less conventional sides of their sound. As a producer, Pushkarev focuses on ambient and dub textures, with releases on Circus Company, Endless, Lessizmore, and Thule Records.
