Miami, FL-based DJ and producer Ape Drums has unveiled a new collaboration with Berlin’s JAMIIE. Titled ‘111’, the track is now out via Rampa’s VOD imprint.

A slow-burning Afro-tech cut built for late-night dance floors and sunrise moments, ‘111’ blends rolling basslines, crisp percussion, and atmospheric textures. JAMIIE’s Afro-influenced grooves and melodic sensibilities mesh seamlessly with Ape Drums’ precise, globally inspired production style, resulting in a track that balances tension and release.

The release has already picked up support from names like Black Coffee, Steve Angello, Rampa, and Damian Lazarus. For Ape Drums—a Mexican-American artist and core member of Major Lazer‘111’ marks another step toward a darker, more minimal sound, building on previous solo releases like ‘Into My Ocean’, ‘For Your Love’, and ‘Like Dat (Remix)’.

JAMIIE brings her signature emotive storytelling to the collaboration, fusing her German-Nigerian heritage into a refined Afro-house framework.
