Apple launches a free music video channel

The service is available through the Apple TV app.

Apple today announced the premiere of Apple Music TV, a new streaming service that will broadcast music video clips 24 hours a day, just like MTV used to back in its prime. The network will have premieres, live shows, thematic segments, and hit lists, one of which will be the 100 most broadcasted songs on Apple Music.

In order to access Apple Music TV, you must download the Apple TV app, but users don’t need to pay the Apple Music fee.

At the moment, it is already available in the United States. There is no confirmation on behalf of the tech giant on when the service will be available worldwide yet.
