Arca asks for fans’ help after losing her Primavera Sound DJ set

Appealing to her fanbase for help in recovering her Boiler Room set.

Arca is seeking help from her fanbase after a technical mishap at her recent Primavera Sound performance. The Venezuelan artist, known for her innovative and boundary-pushing music, delivered what she calls “one of my best DJ sets of my life” at the Boiler Room stage during the festival on Saturday, June 1st. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the set wasn’t recorded.

Arca turned to social media to express her disappointment and appeal to her followers, whom she affectionately calls “mutants.” She wrote, “Mutants, I played one of my best DJ sets of my life at Primavera Boiler Room and they still haven’t released it. Please help me get that out into the world.”

In a follow-up update, Arca revealed that Boiler Room, the renowned global music broadcasting platform, couldn’t capture the performance due to technical difficulties caused by bad weather. “I’m so sad,” she shared, adding, “Can the mutants come together and see if anyone has the full set so at least a rip can be heard? Sorry to everyone who wanted to hear it. I gave my best thinking it would be able to be streamed.”
