Australian DJ and producer Arky Waters has released his new single ‘OMG’. The track lands as the latest glimpse into his upcoming album.
Built around a vocal sample that immediately caught his attention, ‘OMG’ came together during a fast-moving creative session. The track reflects one of those moments where an initial idea quickly evolves into a finished piece.
“I was in the studio with a friend, and he showed me this ‘omg’ sample that I completely fell in love with. I went home and the song came together rather quickly, one of those bursts of inspiration moments. After that I spent a lot of time detailing the bass on this track, carving out all the different layers. I wanted it to feel really immersive and textural.” says Arky Waters.
The finished production balances immediacy with detailed low-end work. Punchy and club-ready, the track highlights Waters’ focus on groove and texture while continuing to build momentum toward his forthcoming album.
