Miami’s Art Basel Week Guide 2017

Art Basel has established itself as the leading art exhibition in the United States including a music program that has little to envy from some of the world’s top electronic music conferences and festivals.

Here, we present our top picks from the different parties and events that will be happening that week.

Monday, December 4th

Arson & Electronic Groove present MIXING

Electronic Groove has partnered with Arson Restaurant to deliver a unique night where food and music unite to celebrate the beginning of Art Basel Week. The 44-seater restaurant located on NE Second Avenue in the heart of downtown Miami will be the host of this special gathering. James Beard Award nominee Chef Deme Lomas will be in charge of ‘Mixing’ some delectable tapas as the prolific local duo Puma & Harry will be ‘Mixing’ some electic sounds with the style and class they are known for. The limited capacity event will be live-streamed at with the support of Black Flamingo Films.

Wednesday, December 6th

Electronic Groove presents Wednesday at TRADE

Three Miami powerhouses get together to bring you a one of a kind event. The evening starts with an Electronic Groove live stream of Majunmasi’s Mark Slee followed by the unique and exclusive performance of Sublevel Live with Doc Martin featuring Lillia. Closing duties are in the hand of Confession’s Ben Finx and Speakerbox co-founder and Miami favorite Kike Roldan.

Thursday, December 7th

Ion Ludwig (Live) – Art Basel 2017

The Dutch producer and live act return to Miami, this time to pay an extended visit to The Electric Pickle during the art week.

Friday, December 8th

Bob Moses (Live) + tINI and the Gang – Art Basel Edition

The talented Canadian duo Bob Moses returns to Florida’s shores to guide you into a glorious morning at Space’s Terrace while Cap, Molly, and Sammy Dee keep things moving in the first tINI and the gang club party in the city.

Crew Love – Art Basel

For the 4th year in a row, Crew Love visits Miami with three areas of sound at The Electric Pickle. Starting outside at 10 pm with a special 45 minutes set by Bamboozle aka Eli Soul Clap, continuing past your bedtimes upstairs on Miami’s most legendary dance floor.

Rumors Art Basel

Guy Gerber, world-renowned curator, label head, DJ, and producer, will bring his iconic RUMORS showcase to the famed 1 Hotel for Art Basel. The day-into-night event sees the label’s return, bringing along its singular production and top-notch performances from the likes of  NYC legend Bill Patrick, rising star Lauren Lane, Argentinian duo NonCitizens, and the Parisian prodigy Dead Tones.

Nic Fanciulli presents My Heart Live

Grammy-nominated producer and internationally acclaimed DJ Nic Fanciulli perform his first ever live show of his debut album ‘My Heart’. Agoria, Audion and Eagles & Butterflies will be supporting the British artist.

Saturday, December 9th


Life and Death and Innervisions are excited to announce a brand new collaborative party concept that will make your heart swell at the historic and picturesque Virginia Key Beach Park, Miami. Making love over 12 hours, Rakastella­­ promises to be a diverse and eclectic musical affair with romantic and intimate house vibes from start to finish.

The renowned record label and party series is a warm and welcoming music affair, attracting a broad spectrum of nomads, adventurers, day-dreamers and dancers. It’s the perfect rabbit hole for Art Basel’s artisans to lose themselves in.

Solomun +1 with Adriatique

Solomun’s back-to-back party that had its fifth consecutive season in Ibiza this year comes to the city for a promising musical journey at Space’s non-stop terrace.

Three deep house maestros are joining forces in an intimate music soiree to continue Art Basel’s festivities. Get ready for some magic beats.

Sunday, December 10th

Hernan Cattaneo – Art Basel Closing Party
