Following a sold-out debut at the Parco Archeologico di Segesta, Sicily-based event series Aura has announced its next edition with Richie Hawtin set to headline Palermo’s Palazzina Cinese on June 1st, 2026.

Built in the late 18th century as a retreat for King Ferdinand III, the historic royal residence will host the second event in Aura’s expanding programme of electronic music gatherings across culturally significant Sicilian landmarks. Horacio Cruz will also join the lineup.

Aura launched earlier this year beside Segesta’s ancient Doric temple, drawing a capacity crowd to one of western Sicily’s most important archaeological sites. The series aims to connect contemporary electronic music with heritage spaces while supporting regional tourism and cultural visibility.

Commenting on the debut edition, Luigi Biondo, Director of the Archaeological Park of Segesta, said: “The time has come to place our trust in young people, because they are the ones who will help us find new paths, and care for the extraordinary places that surround us.”
