Bandcamp has unveiled Bandcamp Clubs, a new subscription-based service designed around curator-led selections rather than algorithms.

For US$13 a month, members gain permanent access to a monthly record chosen by the curator, alongside an exclusive artist interview and a live listening party. The platform’s new initiative emphasizes human curation, aiming to foster music communities beyond algorithm-driven discovery.

Bandcamp Clubs launches with four inaugural groups: Dance Around the World, curated by Jamz Supernova; Jazz-Ish Jazz Club, curated by Tina Edwards; Kosmos Klub, curated by Ajay Saggar; and The Hard Stuff, curated by NTS Radio resident J Bennett.

Bandcamp Clubs is the latest way to directly support artists and participate in a community around music,” said Bandcamp General Manager Dan Melnick. “Vibrant music scenes are made up of DJs, journalists, fans, and artists, and Bandcamp Clubs reflects that. Instead of algorithms, fans get human-curated picks from some of the best DJs and journalists in their respective areas.”
