Bandcamp Friday returns today, March 6th, 2026. For 24 hours, the platform waives its revenue share, ensuring artists and labels receive the full amount from purchases made on Bandcamp.
First introduced to support independent artists, Bandcamp Friday has become a recurring initiative on the platform. During the event, fans can buy music and merchandise knowing that a greater share of the revenue goes directly to creators.
The most recent edition generated more than $3.6 million for independent artists in just one day. Following today’s edition, Bandcamp has scheduled six additional Bandcamp Fridays throughout the year.
The upcoming dates include May 1st, August 7th, September 4th, October 2nd, November 6th, and December 4th. Each event will follow the same format, with the platform waiving its revenue share for the full 24-hour period.
Bandcamp continues to position itself as an artist-focused online record store and community, where fans can directly support musicians and labels through purchases and music discovery.
