Beatport has joined forces with UK-based charity Youth Music to launch a new grant initiative aimed at supporting emerging DJs and producers across the country.
As part of the collaboration, four UK-based organizations focused on youth music development will each receive £15,000 in funding. In addition to financial support, Beatport will offer editorial and marketing assistance to help expand the reach of each selected group. Applications for the grant are now open and will close on Friday, November 21st, 2025.
The initiative forms part of Youth Music’s ongoing Rescue The Roots campaign, launched in March to raise funds for grassroots venues and artists. The charity has pledged to match every pound raised up to a total of £1 million.
“Electronic music has always been about community, creativity, and breaking down barriers,” said Sofia Ilyas, Beatport’s Chief Community Officer. “By partnering with Youth Music, we’re not only investing in the future of the scene, but also making sure that young people, no matter where they come from, have a fair chance to be seen and heard.”
