Electronic music artist, Ben Böhmer, has announced his first studio album in three years, ‘Bloom,’ which is set to be released on September 27th 2024. He has also presented his first single from the album, ‘Best Life,’ featuring the Berlin-based duo, JONAH. The cut is currently available on Ninja Tune.

‘Bloom’ marks a significant point in the German artist’s career, following a sold-out world tour for his previous album. After the tour, Böhmer took a hiatus to focus on his music, with the goal of expressing deep emotions through his art.

The debut single, ‘Best Life,’ embodies this sentiment. As JONAH notes in the track, it serves as a tribute to the ups and downs of life, urging us to fully experience each moment.

His previous albums, ‘Breathing and Begin Again’ (2021), which examine themes of grief and separation respectively, have collectively garnered nearly 1 billion streams. Despite his success, he felt detached from his authentic self. ‘Bloom’ represents his return to his original ambitions and improvisational roots, signifying his growth and ongoing pursuit of innovation.

Ben Böhmer has also announced an 8-stop tour across the UK and Europe this fall. Tickets are available here.
