Ben Sterling debuts on Crosstown Rebels with ‘Don’t Truss’

London-based DJ and producer Ben Sterling has partnered with singer/songwriter Caitlyn Scarlett for his latest release on  Crosstown Rebels. The track, titled ‘Don’t Truss’, marks the artist’s debut on the Damian Lazarus imprint.

In ‘Don’t Truss’, Sterling showcases his versatility as a producer by blending Scarlett’s unique and captivating vocals, resulting in an engaging house track. The release also features another song titled ‘Bring Me To The Surface’. This groove-led production maintains high energy levels through lively drums, basslines with a touch of acid, resonant synths, and vibrant vocals.

Ben Sterling expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “I am truly grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Caitlyn Scarlett and incorporate her vocals into this track. Working with an artist who possesses such a unique voice perfectly complements the style I was aiming for. I also aimed to infuse a UK sound into my production, and I am extremely pleased with the final outcome of this release.”
