Berlin’s ‘Jugendkulturkarte’ initiative provides young people €50 credit for cultural events

Including nightclubs, cultural centers, and more.

A new Berlin initiative launched last Wednesday, February 1st, 2023 is giving young people the chance to access cultural space for free. Known as the ‘Jugendkulturkarte’, a collaboration between Kulturprojekte Berlin and the Senate Department for Culture and Europe, the program offers €50 credit to anyone registered in Berlin between the ages of 18 and 23.

The sum can be spent at cultural centers, theatres, cinemas, nightclubs, museums, and galleries. Participating venues include Ritter Butzke, AVA Club, Cassiopeia, So36, and Gretchen, amongst others.
