The 18-track LP arrives on May 29th via Warp Records.
Boards Of Canada have shared two new singles, ‘Introit’ and ‘Phophecy At 1420 MHz,’ to be included in their first studio album in over a decade, ‘Inferno,’ which is scheduled for release on May 29th, 2026, through Warp Records.
The new singles were accompanied by a thematic video directed by Robert Beatty.
‘Inferno’ marks the pair’s first full-length project since 2013’s ‘Tomorrow’s Harvest.’ The 18-track LP will be available in multiple formats, including a special edition translucent red double vinyl, standard black vinyl, CD, and digital editions. Physical copies will also feature a 16-page booklet.
Since the 1990s, Boards Of Canada have maintained a significant influence on downtempo and IDM. Known for their analog textures and nostalgic themes, the duo has released a string of seminal works on Warp, cementing their reputation as definitive figures in the genre.
