Circle of Life introduces ‘Feathers of Life’, a new concept marking the beginning of a more cinematic and introspective sonic direction. The project opens with ‘Tales Of Feathers’, a collaborative effort between 9DEEP and Bodaishin.
Created during a studio session in Amsterdam, the track reflects the shared vision of two longtime friends working through instinct and connection. ‘Tales Of Feathers’ unfolds through layered textures and restrained pacing, balancing subtle detail with emotional weight.
The composition leans into atmosphere, allowing space and silence to shape its progression. Rather than building toward overt climaxes, the piece invites attentive listening, guided by depth and tonal nuance.
Mastering was handled by four-time GRAMMY-nominated engineer Zino Mikorey, known for his work with Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds, Hans Zimmer, Kiasmos, Hania Rani, and Rival Consoles. His contribution brings clarity and dimension to the final mix.
The accompanying video was created by Ailin, an analog and live visual designer who constructs imagery in real time using inks, oils, liquids, and a retro projector. Built entirely by hand and outside of digital processes, each projection is ephemeral and never repeated, reinforcing the release’s focus on presence and immersion.
