Bézier’s Berlin-based label, Body Tension / Körperspannung Records, has announced the debut EP from XELTA, titled ‘B.D.S.M.’ The duo has shared the record’s lead track, ‘Exquisite S3RVIC3,’ ahead of the full release on July 19, 2026.
The new project brings together New York producer and composer Bruno Coviello and Seattle-based KEXP radio host and DJ Sharlese Metcalf. The collaboration marks the fifth official release for the German imprint.
‘Exquisite S3RVIC3’ delivers a blend of industrial, EBM, and darkwave, drawing inspiration from classic outfits like Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb. Driven by syncopated vocal commands and heavy percussion, the track explores themes of power exchange and physical movement.
Coviello recently composed the score for the SXSW-premiered film ‘My Brother’s Killer,’ while Metcalf hosts the weekly darkwave program Mechanical Breakdown. The upcoming EP represents Metcalf’s first official appearance on a vinyl release.
The EP will be available as a limited edition vinyl run of 200 copies.
