Swedish recording artist and producer boerd has just unveiled his latest single with the release of ‘Another Life’. The new cut is a part of his forthcoming ‘Caution: Fragile’ LP, which is scheduled for release this September 30th via Blunda.
boerd’s ‘Another Life’ is a sultry blend of electronic and classic instruments that unfurls with patience, unrushed, as fellow Swedish singer Stella Explorer lays warm, lush vocals, decorating the piece with a powerful narrative.
“I had planned to keep this as an instrumental track, with a long rhodes solo in it. Luckily, my plans changed after Stella recorded these vocals. The song came out pretty majestic in the end! And for all the music theory nerds out there: correct me if I’m wrong but I believe this is the first song I’ve released with a 3/4 time signature.” says boerd about his latest release.
