The documentary provides unprecedented access to hundreds of hours of previously unseen footage and unreleased music. Utilizing advanced technology developed in collaboration with UK-based creative technologist Brendan Dawes, the film offers a unique generative viewing experience.
Complementing the film is a meticulously curated Original Soundtrack, offering an immersive audio journey through Eno’s remarkable career. The 17-track album features selections from his early solo projects like ‘Taking Tiger Mountain’, notable collaborations with artists such as David Byrne, John Cale, and Cluster, as well as more recent works with Fred again…, including tracks from his latest album, ‘FOREVERANDEVERNOMORE.’
The Soundtrack is available in multiple formats, two vinyl versions (2LP recycled black vinyl and 2LP pink & white vinyl, the latter being a direct-to-consumer exclusive), a 73-minute CD version that comes with an illustrated 16-page booklet of elegant portraits, and a 17-track digital version.
For the past 50 years, Brian Eno has been a trailblazer in music and technology. Beginning his career in the 1970s with Roxy Music, Eno has released over 40 records. He pioneered the genre of ambient music with his 1978 album ‘Ambient 1: Music for Airports’ and has produced for iconic artists like David Bowie, U2, Talking Heads, and Coldplay. Additionally, Eno composed the startup sound for Microsoft Windows, cementing his influence on modern music.
