BSH Events has announced two major open-air performances at Croatia’s Cave Romane, bringing Amelie Lens and Carl Cox to one of the country’s most distinctive electronic music venues this summer.
Located in Vinkuran, just outside Pula, Cave Romane is a 2,000-year-old limestone quarry whose stone was once used in the construction of the Pula Arena. Defined by towering rock walls reaching up to 50 metres, the site has become a unique setting for large-scale electronic music events thanks to its natural acoustics, dramatic scale, and striking geological landscape.
The series begins on July 3rd, 2026, with a headline performance from Amelie Lens. Known for her high-intensity sets and global touring schedule, the Belgian artist arrives following recent releases including ‘Whatever You Do’ and ‘Falling Into Acid Dreams’, continuing her position at the forefront of contemporary techno.
On August 7th, Carl Cox takes over the historic venue for a special open-air event. One of dance music’s most influential figures, Cox remains renowned for his ability to move seamlessly between house, techno, and acid-rooted sounds while maintaining a global presence that spans decades of club and festival culture.
Both events will feature a new visual concept developed by BSH Events in collaboration with creative production studio Highscream. Designed specifically for Cave Romane’s dramatic vertical surfaces, the production will combine laser projection mapping, immersive lighting, and large-scale visual installations that interact directly with the quarry’s limestone walls while preserving the site’s raw character.
The events form part of BSH Events’ wider programme of destination electronic music experiences across Croatia. Through the use of historic and culturally significant locations, the promoter continues to develop a distinctive identity within the European electronic music landscape while transforming Cave Romane into one of the region’s most remarkable settings for electronic music.
