Anz, Carista, and Avalon Emerson will also be a part of the program.
After unveiling artists like Joy Orbison, Amelie Lens, DJ EZ, and SHERELLE as residents for Radio 1, the BBC station has announced the new line-up of names to join the weekly rotation, spearheaded by Carl Cox.
With proceedings kicking off next month, Cox will be joined over at Radio 1 by Carista, Avalon Emerson, and Anz.
The new roster will take over from March 1st, with two shows that will air every Sunday night into Monday morning from 1-2 AM and 2-3 AM, as the radio continues bringing ‘listeners into the world of the biggest names in pioneering, high-energy Dance music from across the international club scene’.
‘Well one thing is for sure, I am really looking forward to coming back to BBC Radio 1 for The Residency. I’ve got so much new music to unleash, we’re going to need more than 6 weeks for sure. Turn it up, enjoy, sit back and relax – if not roll back the carpets and boogie away, it’s going to be an absolutely fantastic journey’, said Cox about his participation.
You can tune into Radio 1’s Residency starting on March 1st via BBC Sounds.
