Carl Cox is collaborating with the NHS to encourage event attendees to move forward with their Covid-19 vaccination. Through a YouTube video uploaded by the NHS, Cox talks about the importance of vaccinations with Dr. Kishnan Bodalia.
‘What we don’t want is clubs to not work at the end of the day, we are all on the frontline now. So the only thing we can do is protect ourselves, to be able to enjoy our moments,’ says Cox about the current situation.
He also discusses his experience getting vaccinated, saying he was fine after the first jab, but that the second one felt ‘a bit bruisy’. Still, Cox insists he’s ‘absolutely fine’.
‘Having a party in a pandemic, doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. People are still suffering from this and we aren’t out of it yet,’ said Cox a couple of months ago, a sentiment that still resonates with him to this day.
