Carl Cox to play virtual reality concerts

The platform of the shows will be similar to games like Fortnite or Minecraft.

The veteran English producer Carl Cox will perform a series of virtual reality concerts with the Sensorium Corporation team, a technology company that developed a social VR platform, in which the artist will show some of his best sets (recorded and live).

The new platform, which will be launched in 2021, will allow attendees to experience the shows with virtual reality headsets and as well as on PC, Android, and iOS devices. Sensorium Galaxy is made from a free model in which the profits come from the sale of tickets for events, subscriptions to premium accounts, and add-ons.

Sensorium Galaxy will allow users to immerse themselves in new worlds and experience activities and emotions that are impossible in real life. Carl Cox is one of the first world-famous DJs to join the platform in the near future. He is an icon of the electronic music scene, an artist constantly striving to progress, who understands the vast opportunities offered by new technologies, including virtual reality, to build an enhanced entertainment distribution platform and a next-gen communication tool that allows artists to scale their creativity’, said Yann Pissenem.
