‘MAMA’ blends different music genres, as it conjures house, garage, and classic electronica. Embellished with a unique smooth delivery, the track feels fresh and presents a coded message through catchy vocal lines that require deciphering. A mid-tempo gem polished with an alternative indie edge.
In these troubling times, CDJ seeks to take the listener on a journey attempting to dissect the present state of mind of humanity. ‘Surrounded by different kinds of stereotypes people in an urban setting often tend to feel lonely; sometimes even afraid. The fear is sometimes so intense that you can almost feel it’, reads a statement found in its press release.
