Chris Massey joins forces with Supernature for ‘Walk…Now Walk’, part of Sprechen’s ‘Ein Null’ 10-year anniversary LP. Released via Sprechen Music, the track pays tribute to the label’s decade-long journey, weaving together nostalgic sounds and fresh energy.
‘Walk…Now Walk’ delivers a powerful mix of acid disco beats. The track combines vocals from RuPaul’s ‘Cover Girl’ with Supernature’s BB’s distinct voice, creating a strong dance groove with deep bass elements. Massey explains: “I’ve always liked transitional tunes: those tracks that pack all the punches but don’t go all the way to the extreme. They play a key role in a DJ set of moving things up from the early warm up vibes to that point when you know you’re settled in for the ride.”
‘Ein Null’ features contributions from The Utopia Strong, A Certain Ratio, Lindstrøm, PBR Streetgang, Gina Breeze, Lená C and Chris Massey, capturing the label’s diverse ethos. Sprechen’s anniversary events this September include takeovers at Cloudwater Brewery Taproom and Stockport’s SK1 Records, promising a celebration of Manchester’s grassroots music scene.
