Chus & Ceballos have ended their musical participation as a duo. The Spanish artists, who had recently celebrated two decades of their Stereo Productions record label, were among the most influential electronic music duos on the scene in Spain and the world.
Chus L. Esteban was in charge of announcing the news through a statement in which he thanked the fans for their support and remembered the good times. He also added that he will continue to go solo as DJ CHUS.

‘Dear friends, colleagues, promoters, fans, members of what I consider to be my own family, it is with a broken heart that I write these words to inform you about the end of a long journey, two decades of dedication, sacrifice, and dedication to the Chus & Ceballos duo.
As you well know, everything in life has a beginning and an end and, for me, it is very important that things make sense, I do not like to make hasty decisions and the last 10 months have been revealing and decisive for me. Closing this cycle celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Stereo Productions has been the finishing touch to our history.
After 20 years together, traveling the world, and carrying the flag of Iberican Sound, the time has come to turn the page to another chapter in my career.
I want to preserve all the moments that we have lived, the good and the bad, the successes and the crises, the joys and the disappointments, so many and so many things that I want to last forever in our memory and it would be useless to go into details of how, what, or why, that would only cloud the memories of a very beautiful time in my life.
I want to sincerely thank all those who have supported me from the bottom of my heart, not only in these last two decades of Chus & Ceballos and Stereo, but in the more than 35 years of a career that I have behind me, to all of you who have danced over and over again to my music.
I want you to know that I will continue my solo career as DJ CHUS. I am moving forward, with more enthusiasm than ever, with renewed energy, and with a new project that I will reveal to you very soon together with a fantastic and inspiring group of talents who have made me believe in music again at 50.
Once again, thank you all for your unconditional support, and I sincerely hope that you can soon enjoy all the wonderful things to come on this exciting, new journey’.
