Citizen Kain has launched his new imprint Eversun Records, debuting with the cinematic and emotionally charged single ‘Moments’ featuring Kaps, available now across platforms.
With a career shaped by releases on Afterlife, Ellum Audio, UPPERGROUND, and ATLANT, Citizen Kain now opens a new chapter — one built on personal vision. “‘Eversun’ is a space where I can stay true to myself, to my sound, and to the freedom that first made me fall in love with this culture,” he explains.
‘Moments’ blends the precision of melodic techno with the warmth of progressive house, driven by Kaps’ assertive vocals, sweeping synth chords, and urgent, horn-like motifs. It’s the first in a series of releases designed to channel what Kain calls “emotion, energy and light.”
Inspired by a sunrise on Koh Phangan, the name ‘Eversun’ reflects the timeless spirit of early electronic music: peace, love, unity, and connection. With previous support from Solomun, Maceo Plex, ARTBAT, Adam Beyer, Mind Against, and more, the label signals a focused and forward-facing new chapter for the French producer.
