Cocoon Recordings celebrates its 25th anniversary with ‘25 Years Cocoon Recordings – Volume One’, an elaborate 5×12″ vinyl LP box set that begins a two-volume project and returns the label to its roots.
Spanning the sound and diversity cultivated over nearly three decades, the collection unites 15 exclusive contributions from international artists who have shaped the imprint’s path, alongside fresh talents pointing to its future. Contributors include Butch, Robag Wruhme, Josh Wink, Guy J, and Dino Lenny, with longtime companions Extrawelt, Harvey McKay, Johannes Volk, and Raxon also featured. Recent discoveries Jonathan Kaspar and Riccardo De Polo add new perspectives, while Damiano von Erckert, Fedele, and ja:cK round out the set. The box arrives with a spectral-reflective foil finish, underscoring the label’s tradition of carefully curated compilations across techno, house, electronica, and ambient.
