Cosmicat, the rising talent from Saudi Arabia, has recently released her anticipated new mix, EG SPOTLIGHT.281. The mix is now accessible through Electronic Groove’s Soundcloud and Mixcloud.
Cosmicat is making waves in the global music scene, representing a new generation of artists from Saudi Arabia. Her distinctive fusion of musical genres has not only won over an audience of 130,000 at Soundstorm but has also earned her a spot on prestigious global stages such as Exit Festival, Tomorrowland, and Ultra Miami. Recently, she took her talent to Ibiza, showcasing her skills at Ushuaïa and Club Chinois as part of Franky Wah’s residency. She also made her debut at the renowned London club, fabric.
From Jeddah, Cosmicat started her music journey with limited resources. She self-taught music while studying dentistry and playing at local parties. She has since risen to global fame, inspiring other female Saudi musicians.
Her self-taught music combines traditional electronic music with Arabic vocals and drum patterns. Since 2018, she has gained a global following and performed alongside artists like Peggy Gou and Nicole Moudaber. Cosmicat’s journey has been featured in Hypebeast Diaries and Vogue Arabia, and she has collaborated with brands like Coach and Pepsi.
