Curses has announced ‘Next Wave Acid Punx TROIS’, the third and final chapter in his compilation series, alongside the release of his new single ‘Crown of Ruin’.

Set for release on June 4th, 2026, via Eskimo Recordings, the project brings together 46 hard-to-find, new, and exclusive tracks. Spanning three 2LPs and three CDs, the compilation closes a series that began in 2021, tracing the influences that have shaped Luca Venezia’s artistic identity.

With this final installment, the Berlin-based artist turns to the sounds that introduced him to Brooklyn’s rave scene. The release reflects a period when genres like techno, breakbeat, ambient, and trance collided across dancefloors in cities including New York, London, Frankfurt, and Valencia.

Out now, ‘Crown of Ruin’ offers a first glimpse into the project. “For ‘Next Wave Acid Punx TROIS’ I wanted to bring the series full circle and return to the sounds that first got me into electronic music,” says Curses. “Thinking back to early 90s raves in New York and beyond, it was that mix of genres, techno, breakbeats, ambient, and trance all colliding in one space, that really opened my ears… This compilation is about capturing that spirit of freedom and passing it on to inspire others.”

The compilation features material ranging from foundational acts such as Model 500, Nitzer Ebb, and Age of Love to contributions from contemporary artists including Digitalism, Leona Jacewska, and Italo Deviance, alongside exclusive cuts and original work by Curses.
