The only film score from the French duo.
Iconic French outfit Daft Punk have revamped their original score for ‘Tron: Legacy’ for a second time since its release back in 2010. While the pair may have split early in 2021, the new reissue is meant to celebrate the 11th anniversary of its release, with a first limited edition vinyl reissue also hitting stores just one year ago.
The new drop contains two colored vinyl (a translucent one and a clear blue piece), and has seen Daft Punk back on the top of Billboard’s Top 100. The limited-edition record was presented as a Target exclusive-only and collected data states that 94% of the 10,000 copies sold between December 10th and 16th were physical ones.
The numbers coincide with vinyl reaching an all-time high in sales in almost 30 years.
