Miami-based artist Danny Daze has recently announced his highly anticipated debut album entitled ‘::BLUE::’ set to be released on November 17th, 2023. As a preview of the album, he has released the first single, ‘Silver Box,’ featuring the collaborative efforts of Nick León and Jonny From Space.
The LP features collaborations with prominent Miami musicians including Nick León, Jonny From Space, Push Button Objects, and Deroboter, and is set to be released next month via Daze’s own Omnidisc imprint.
Representing a major milestone for the artist, ‘::BLUE::’ is the culmination of 24 years of dedication and artistic exploration. “Releasing an album has always been a lifelong aspiration for me. I wanted to ensure that every aspect of it perfectly aligned with my sound and artistic vision”, Danny commented.
‘::BLUE::’ is a 90-minute continuous piece that showcases Daze’s meticulous approach to sound design. Drawing inspiration from his diverse musical influences accumulated over the years in Miami and beyond, the album blends elements of ambient, bass, and skewed IDM, resulting in a captivating sonic experience.
Alongside the album release, Daze has created a captivating 33-minute audiovisual project, which was initially unveiled during Art Basel Miami in December 2022. This immersive experience will be showcased at various planetariums and festivals across the United States.
